Deer Fencing - Natural Regeneration of a Forest?

What is a forest? A forest is a system, where trees and their associates are so highly ordered in their connections that they all survive at a high quality state.

This ruffed grouse with its broken neck spun about was no challenge for the U.S. Forest Services so called "Natural Regeneration Program." I wonder if a ruffed grouse get headaches? I wonder if this is how skiers feel when they hit a tree? If timber sales such as this on Federal Land were stopped, money would be saved, the system could begin to heal and we could enjoy our visits to the forest.

Image is compliments of the Allegheny National Forest so called "NATURAL REFORESTATION" program. Eco-Art Nurse Logs out, Herbicides, Planting Non-Native Grass, Deer Fence, Synthetic Nitrogen Fertilizer and Road Building all at a lose of $$$$$ MILLIONS a year to tax payers. You must admit that you can not manage a forest any more "NATURAL" than this. Smokey the Bear must really love people!
