- The Board of Supervisors decided to place on the ballot the question: "Do you favor the imposition of an additional tax on real estate at the rate of forty-nine one-hundredths of a mill per dollar of assessed value (0.00049) by the Township of West Vincent to be used to purchase interests in real estate/or to make additional acquisitions of real property for the purpose of securing open space benefits?"

Meeting Minutes:
Unfortunately, the Board of Supervisors has changed the procedures for acquiring copies, in electronic form, of the minutes of their meetings, as well as those of the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) and the Planning Commission, beginning with the first meetings of 2001. At their February 26, 2001 meeting, they adopted a fee schedule that would cost at least $6/week to get copies of meeting minutes on a weekly basis, or $150/year to pick up copies of all minutes on a monthly basis. They are still making paper copies of the "unapproved" minutes available at the township building free-of-charge, however.
I have archived the 1998-2000 meeting minutes on this website, and plan to do the same with future minutes, but I don't see the need to also post current minutes if the township plans to do so on a timely basis. Therefore, I'll probably only add them here after they are 1-2 months old.
