Spring 2010 Newsletter
The Chester County Reading
Association recognizes the concern and shared responsibility for the development of
literate citizens.
We invite parents, teachers,
administrators, school board directors, senior citizens, and community leaders to join us
in promoting literacy in Chester County.
The goals of the Chester County Reading Association include:
*To encourage the study of literacy development at all levels of education.
*To disseminate information about literacy development to the community at large
through programs and newsletters.
*To support the purposes of the Keystone State Reading Association and the International
Reading Association.
*To promote mutual understanding and dialogue among educators and the community about
literacy.
BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP IN CCRA
*Learn about the most current techniques in reading
and language arts instruction.
*Work with professionals to promote literacy activities.
*Enjoy fellowship with others who are interested in children and adult learners.
*Gain automatic membership in the Keystone State Reading Association.
*Receive newsletters from both the Chester County Reading Association and the Keystone
State Reading Association.
*Enjoy fine speakers and an active calendar of educational meetings.
*A designated HONOR COUNCIL
